What is Apple Cider Vinegar?

Apple Cider Vinegar is produced by allowing either crushed apples or simply apple juice to ferment. The sugars in the apple or juice turn into alcohol and then to acetic add - a key ingredient in apple cider vinegar that is also responsible for giving it the sour taste.

Importance of the "Mother"

While some health benefits may be related to acetic acid, other studies have shown that the "Mother" offers most of the additional health benefits.*

The "Mother" is composed of flavonoids and other phenolic compounds, enzymes, trace minerals, and various byproducts created from fermentation. Enzymedica Raw-Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar provides not only acetic acid, but also all of the Mother components inherent to a high-quality ACV.
